Black Hat USA 2026 preview
Black Hat USA is the world's most respected information security conference - the place where the global infosec community gathers to learn, research, and debate the cutting edge of offensive and defensive security. Founded in 1997, the conference has grown from a single annual gathering into the premier international security event series, drawing security researchers, practitioners, CISOs, red teamers, and vendors from around the globe to Las Vegas each August.
Black Hat USA 2026 takes place August 1 to 6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The six-day program opens with four days of intensive Trainings from Saturday, August 1 through Tuesday, August 4, followed by two days of Briefings on Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6 - the main conference where the world's leading security researchers share groundbreaking new work covering applied security, exploit development, malware, vulnerability research, and more.
Echo's story, and how to recognize our brand
Echo's booth and swag have received high praise across the cybersecurity conference circuit - the brand phrases "Making your job boring" and "There's nothing to fix" have generated tremendous buzz and turned heads at events throughout the year. Black Hat USA is one of the most technically sophisticated audiences in security, which makes it one of the most natural fits for Echo's message: when your software ships without CVEs from the start, there is genuinely nothing to fix.

Why attend Black Hat USA 2026?
Black Hat Briefings are independently selected by a peer review board based purely on the quality and novelty of the research - there is no pay-for-play, which is why the content carries genuine weight. Sessions cover the full spectrum of offensive and defensive security, from exploit development and malware analysis to cloud security, identity, and supply chain attacks. The result is a two-day program that represents the actual frontier of what attackers are doing and what defenders need to know.
The Black Hat Trainings, running the first four days of the event, offer intensive multi-day courses taught by globally recognized practitioners - covering offensive techniques, ethical hacking, exploitation, malware analysis, cloud security, and more. For security professionals investing in hands-on skill development, these are among the most rigorous technical courses available anywhere in the industry.
The Arsenal program runs concurrently with the Briefings and is one of the most valuable parts of the conference for practitioners - an open, interactive demo environment where security researchers and open source developers showcase the latest tools directly to attendees. The Business Hall offers structured access to vendors and sponsors across every domain of the security market, making it one of the most efficient ways to evaluate solutions and benchmark your current stack in a single venue.
For security leaders, Black Hat USA also sits immediately alongside DEF CON - the world's largest hacker conference - making the Las Vegas week in early August the single most concentrated gathering of security talent and expertise in the annual calendar.
